On November 11, the Taizi River Super Bridge at the Weining Interchange in Liaoning Province was successfully completed. This is the only super bridge on the Benxi-Hengren Expressway, invested by China Railway Investment Group and participated by the China Railway Seventh Group and the Southwest Institute ofChina Railway Academy.
Located in Weiningying Village, Benxi City, the bridge is adjacent to key transport links such as the Shenyang-Dandong Expressway and the Taizi River. It is the largest single engineering structure on the expressway, featuring a T-shaped hub with four ramps (A, B, C, D). Once operational, it will significantly improve local transportation and enhance the regional expressway network.
The Benxi-Huanggou Expressway spans 254.862 kilometers with a total investment of 26.371 billion yuan. The entire expressway is expected to open by October 2025.
